Transit Subsidy Improvements Pass

A transportation bill awaiting President Bush’s signature (HR-3) would put into law an executive order generally requiring facilities in the Washington, D.C. area pay the subsidies, while extending that policy to certain entities not covered by the order, and also authorize agencies to pay for shuttles between their sites and local transit stations.
