All three stock-oriented funds of the Thrift Savings Plan suffered losses in April for the second straight month, with the small and mid-sized U.S. company stock (S) fund dropping 3.72 percent, the international stock (I) fund losing 2.27 percent and the large U.S. company stock (C) fund falling 1.90 percent. The losses bring the 12-month returns for the three funds to 8.2, 15 and 6.35 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, the bond (F) fund gained 1.35 percent in April and the government securities (G) fund gained 0.37 percent, for 12-month returns of 5.21 and 4.53 percent, respectively.
