I currently have 28 years of civil service. If I buy back the remaining 18 months of mil duty I’ll have 29 years 6 months. I’m assuming the appeals will take more than 6 months. By that time I’ll be 52 with more than 30 years. If they DSR me, will I be given all the same “benefits” of a normal retirement at 30 years? i.e. RAS. Or does the RAS come automatically because I’m a mil tech? Thanks Blocked by moderator

When did you begin your civilian Military Technician service? Your response will determine if the RAS is paid immediately or at your Minimum Retirement Age. Blocked by moderator
