Can a VA supervisor or chief medical doctor from my dept. forcefully change my work station? A certain VA supervisor or chief medical doctor likely wanta to change my duty station at the current hospital where I work (to another one 34 miles away) can he do this even if I don’t agree? There is a regulation saying a change in duty station is permitted as long as it is with your geographic area. Normally, unless otherwise stated in local policy, that is 35 miles. So unfortunately, it appears they can do that however you might want to check with your local union to see if there are any rules in place to make that negotiable. Blocked by moderator
