I separated from Federal service after 10 years of credible service in 2013. My MRA is 56, and I fall short of 2 years to that limit, when I separated. I am eligible to retire without age penalty from 2018. Is it advisable to take annuity from 2013 with FEHB. Appreciate your thoughts and advice. Blocked by moderator

Only you can answer that question. If you take it now, with the age penalty, calculate what you would receive vs waiting until age 62 taking it with no age penalty. Because you are only eligible for a deferred annuity there is no eligibility for FEHB. Blocked by moderator
