CSRS spousal annuity offset for FERS retiree?

My husband is a CSRS retiree who opted for full spousal annuity. Years later I became a Federal employee under FERS. Would my own FERS retiree benefits be reduced or offset by what I would receive from my husbands CSRS spousal annuity?

No and the reason is you work and earn your own FERS…it is yours and you can elect to leave him a survivor benefit from those monies. He has paid, much like an insurance premium, to leave you part of his CSRS pension, so that would be in addition to your earned FERS, your TSP and your Social Security.
