Deferred Retirement For Fired Employee

I’m 50 years old. Worked for the federal government for 24 years. My first 11 years were FERS non law enforcement. My last 13 years were FERS law enforcement or 6c retirement.
Do I need to wait until I’m 60 before I can collect without a penalty?
Or does it mean anything that I have 13 years with a Maximum Retirement Age of 57?
Thanks for your time.

In order to collect a LEO retirement you need to get the 20 LEO years. Once you work 7 more LEO and have your 20, you will be able to retire at age 57 with 20 LEO at 34% and the additional 11 at 1% for a total of 45% X high-3. The same high-3 is used for your entire career. Now should you wish to work beyond 57, you need to get a waiver to stay or transfer to a non-covered position but you will have locked in the enhanced computation of the LEO when you are ready to retire.

I haven't worked for the Federal Government for over 2 years now. I was terminated in October of 2020 after 24 and a half years. When I took the government to MSPB we settled and they paid me a nice chunk of money, but part of the agreement was I couldn't re-apply and go back to work for the Federal Government. That was fine with me, as I work for the State now and have a better retirement I'm working on at 2% a year. But, I want to get the best deferred retirement I can get with what I had via the Federal Government. Do I need to wait for age 60? Or is anything different since I have 13 years LEO and 11 years non-LEO? Or can I defer my retirement to 57 with no reduced benefit? If I retire now (51 years old soon) do I get 9x5 off of my retirement? Or is it 6x5 because it's 57?
