What constitutes one year of creditable service? Is it 365 days from your service comp date? Or is it one calendar year from your service comp date? Over 20 years, this will move your retirement date back five days from the date you started in service if true. For example, I started August 14, 2003. Will I have accrued 20 years of credible service at August 14, 2023? Or at August 9, 2023? Blocked by moderator

In the retirement world, all months have 30 days so it is a 360 day year. If you began August 14, 2003, you will have your 20 years on August 13, 2023. Blocked by moderator
