I started FEHB 1/8/2017, so I can’t retire until after 1/8/2022 (FERS, MRA with 35 years of service). I understand I won’t get my first annuity until 1 March (to cover February). I’m not worried about the lack of pay for the rest of January, but will it still be considered an “immediate annuity” as needed to continue FEHB? Blocked by moderator

I plan to retire (FERS) 1/15/2022 to insure I have my FEHB. Will it still be an immediate annuity?
