I’m a retired Federal Firefighter, retired 8-31-2016, can I earn more than the minimum per OPM?

I really want to know if I am required to pay back the earnings over what has been set as a maximum as a retired employee? I am a retired Federal Firefighter.

As a retired special provision employee, the earnings test does apply to you until you reach what is called the FERS Minimum Retirement Age. This is the age regular FERS employees can can retire. It is based on your year of birth. If you tell me your year of birth I can tell you when the earning test for the supplement commences.
