FERS supplement not addressed in 2008 divorce COAP

My COAP was filed in 2008 when I got divorced and it does not mention the supplement because at that time the supplement was not considered part of the annuity payment. Will OPM split the Supplement with my ex even though the COAP was filed 8 years before the started giving a portion of the supplement to ex spouses?

OPM will apportion the supplement unless the award identifies a specific dollar amount to the former spouse.
