The men accused of plotting the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon will be tried by military tribunal, Attorney General Eric Holder announced April 4. The trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Muhammed Salih Mubarak Bin Attash, Ramzi Bin Al Shibh, Ali Abdul-Aziz Ali, and Mustafa Ahmed Al Hawsawi will take place at Guantanamo Naval Station, Cuba. Retired Navy Vice Adm. Bruce MacDonald, the convening authority, will review the evidence against the men and determine if their case would be referred to trial.
