The U.S. Air Force Academy is embarking upon a yearlong internal study of its athletics programs, in order to fulfill requirements for National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I status. The study will focus on academic integrity, rules compliance, gender diversity, and well being of the school’s student-athletes. An independent panel will review the completed study results and offer an appropriate recommendation to the NCAA regarding certification.
