AF Accommodates New Moms

Female airmen who are new mothers now have 12 months after childbirth to meet fitness-assessment requirements. Also, the Air Force increased dwell time for new mothers to one year. The change also includes limited short tours, dependent-restricted assignments, and temporary duty to one year, unless service members agree to waive the limits.
