The Air Force has selected 6,618 technical sergeants for promotion to master sergeant, out of a pool of 19,538. The Air Force Personnel Center planned to post the names of those selected on its Web site, www.afpc.af.mil, May 19. Those selected for E-7 scored an average of 335.21, served an average of 4.58 years in grade, and served an average of 15.91 years. Promotions will begin in August, according to promotion sequence numbers.
