AF Announces Guard, Reserve Officer Promotions

The Air Force has selected 299 Air National Guard and 299 Reserve first lieutenants for promotion to captain for the first half of fiscal year 2009. Another 252 Air Guard and 93 reserve second lieutenants have been selected for promotion to first lieutenant. Officers cannot assume their new ranks until their two-year anniversary of date-in-rank, or April 1, whichever is later. The list is available online at www.arpc.afrc.af.mil.
