The Air Force is delaying plans to upgrade its Military Personnel Data system next month, until it can be tested thoroughly. Airmen should notice little or no change as they use the current system to apply for reenlistments and extensions, complete preference applications, apply for voluntary retraining, and upgrade their Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance (SGLI) policies.
