The Air Force is expanding deployment opportunities for airmen who otherwise would not be able to, the service announced Oct. 7. With the change, the 602nd Training Group Provisional (TRG-P) began filling openings at its operations center and in training detachments with airmen who have restrictive deployment availability codes. The unit, based at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., supports airmen who take Army and Air Force combat-skills training. Airmen who have medical deployment availability codes should understand that they might be selected for stateside jobs – with either the 602nd TRG-P, or at a training detachment.
