Airmen who wish to apply for White House fellowships, two-year fellowships in Japan, or to attend university overseas, have until July 31 to submit their applications, the Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) announced. Those interested in applying for the Olmstead Scholar Program to study in a foreign language at a university overseas can contact the Olmstead Foundation’s Web site, www.olmsteadfoundation.org. Those interested in White House fellowships should visit www.whitehouse.gov/about/fellows. Airmen who want to experience an immersion into Japanese culture should apply for the Mansfield Fellowship Exchange Program. Information is available online at www.mansfieldfdn.org. Airmen who wish to earn master’s degrees in cyber operations or information resource management, or doctorates in electrical or computer engineering, can receive grants to cover tuition, fees, and books, through the Defense Department-sponsored Information Assurance Scholarship Program.
