AF: No Involuntary Force Management in ’15

The Air Force has declared an end to the involuntary force-management programs that saw some airmen lose their jobs in recent years. Voluntary programs will continue through fiscal year 2015, which began Oct. 1 and continues through Sept. 30. Further involuntary force reductions in 2015 have been rendered unnecessary because 2014 programs achieved goals for the size and shape of the force, the Air Force stated Dec. 17.
