Civilian employees of the Air Force in grades GS-14, GS-15, NSPS PB-03, or their equivalent could be eligible to apply for the service’s Defense Senior Leader Development Program for the 2011 academic year. To qualify for application, they must also have worked as Air Force civilians for at least two years, hold bachelor’s degrees, and have a minimum of one year’s supervisory experience. Those selected will undergo training from July 2011 to June 2012, unless they have completed senior-level professional military education. Interested civilian employees can submit applications, including a resume, AF Form 4059, a signed mobility agreement and a DSLDP application, to AFPC/DPIFDA, 555 E Street West, Suite 1, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas 78150, or fax them to (210) 565-7150 or DSN 665-7150, by Sept. 11. Selectees will be notified sometime early next year.
