Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS) officials at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, are seeking contact from members of the delayed entry program (DEP) who have been affected by Hurricane Katrina. Those involved may contact the recruiting service at (210) 671-2951 Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. CDT. After normal business hours, an Air Force representative will be available at (210) 865-5364. Enlistment contracts by individuals who are in the delayed entry program remain valid, said AFRS officials. AFRS has begun coordinating with the Military Entrance Processing Command and Air Force technical training schools to identify alternate training dates for members of the DEP who will be delayed because of the hurricane.
