The Air Force will offer a third round of Voluntary Earl Retirement Authority (VERA) and Voluntary Separation Incentive Payment (VSIP), in order to bring the number of civilian workers down to required targeted levels. Civilian employees can expect to receive VERA/VSIP surveys by May 1. In most cases, applications are due the week of May 14; some local authorities may set earlier deadline dates.
