‘American Sniper’ Killer Found Guilty

A Texas jury found former Marine Eddie Ray Routh guilty of killing “American Sniper” author Chris Kyle and another man. According to the Associated Press, the panel did not agree with Routh’s claim that he was insane and suffered from psychosis. Routh killed Kyle and Chad Littlefield at a shooting range two years ago. Because prosecutors did not seek the death penalty, Routh automatically will receive a sentence of life in prison.
