The Army Reserve and U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced a plan to work together to help service members and veterans gain employment. Under the agreement, as many as 10,200 Army reservists could be hired by CBP, which manages, controls, and protects the nation’s borders. The arrangement between the Army Reserve and CBP is the first under the service’s employer partnership program. Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz, the chief of the Army Reserve, hopes the arrangement will set "the standard among other federal agencies and the Army Reserve."
