The Army has suspended Maj. Gen. Michael T. Harrison from his duties, following allegations that he did not mitigate a sexual-assault complaint leveed by a subordinate soldier. Harrison was relieved of his job as commanding general of U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward) June 7 by Secretary of the Army John McHugh and Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno. Pending completion of an investigation of the allegations against Harrison, Maj. Gen. James C. Boozer will assume his command on an interim basis.
