Army To Open Special Ops Aviation Slots to Women

Qualified female soldiers soon will be eligible to fill 1,300 previously closed slots in the Army Special Operations Aviation Command. The Defense Department notified Congress of the change May 23. With the change, women will be able to serve in all four battalions of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.
