BCT Bound for Afghanistan

The Army has decided to shift another unit’s scheduled deployment to Afghanistan instead of Iraq. The 4th Brigade (Fury from the Sky), 82nd Airborne Division Infantry Brigade Combat Team, will leave Fort Bragg, N.C., in late summer. Army officials based the change on recommendations from ground commanders in both countries. The BCT will train Afghan National Security Forces during its tour.
