Bird Strikes F-16; Pilots Safe

Two Air Force pilots ejected safely from their F-16 fighter jet after a bird struck the plane June 27. The plane, attached to the 309th Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., crashed into a field near the base. It caused no damage to property or buildings.
