Bonus Set for AF Contracting Officers

Some Air Force contracting officers could qualify for a retention bonus this year. Those eligible would receive $20,000 per year for four years, if they sign up for the Critical Skills Retention Bonus Program. Contracting officers comprise more than three-fourths of the Air Force’s contingency contracting support for Joint Contracting Command-Iraq/Afghanistan. The deadline for applications is July 30.
