Chile Assistance Medal Available

Service members who helped provide assistance in the wake of the earthquake that struck Chile on Feb. 27 are eligible for the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Air Force announced July 1. To qualify, service members must have served at least one day between March 6-29 in or near the cities of Angol, Santiago, and Talcahuano, or on aircrews that landed in those vicinities. Applicants must provide appropriate documentation.
