College Offers Classes in Iraq

Troops stationed in Camp Victory or Joint Base Balad in Iraq can now take college classes there, offered by the University of Maryland University College, and taught by the school’s faculty members. The Iraq courses follow an existing contract between the Defense Department and the university, which established classroom curriculums at other U.S. Central Command sites.
