A federal court moved to uphold the Trump administration’s bar on transgender persons from military service. The Jan. 4 ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit overturned a lower district court order that halted the ban. However, transgender persons still will be allowed to serve until the court case, Doe v. Trump, is fully resolved.
