Cuba Returns Hellfire Missile

Cuba has returned an inert Hellfire missile to the U.S., the BBC reported Feb. 13. The weapon had been delivered to Cuba on an Air France flight inadvertently on an Air France airliner in June 2014. The airline was supposed to ship the missile to Florida. U.S. officials expressed concern that the error could have had serious security implications. “Cuba acted with seriousness and transparency and cooperated to find a satisfactory solution to this issue,” the BBC quoted the Cuban Foreign Ministry as saying.
