The Coast Guard cutter Bernard C. Webber returned 32 Cuban migrants to their homeland April 22. The 32 Cubans were interdicted in three separate missions since April 12, all taking place along the Florida coast. The cutter Confidence interdicted 13 migrants on raft near Key West, Fla., April 12. A small-boat crew from Coast Guard Station Marathon, Fla., took into custody another 17 migrants as they headed toward Key West in what the service described as a “rustic boat” April 12. The cutter William Flores found another seven migrants on an 18-foot raft near Key Biscayne, Fla., a few days later.
