Nearly seven months after its inception, the newly created U.S. Cyber Command is now functioning at full operational capability, the Defense Department announced. The command reached the milestone after ensuring that the personnel and functions of the Joint Task Force for Global Network Operations and Joint Functional Component Command for Network Warfare were fully integrated. The command will now focus on expanding capability to ensure that the Pentagon’s cyber networks continue to operate safely and securely.
