Dental Benefit for Pregnant Women Increased

Tricare now provides three teeth-cleaning procedures for pregnant women in a 12-month period, rather than two, at no cost. The enhanced benefit comes as scientific research has shown that gum disease in expectant mothers could lead to low birth weight for their babies, and increase the chance of gestational diabetes as well.
