DoD Awards $200 Million in Research Funding to Schools

The Defense Department has selected 34 academic institutions to receive a total of $19.7 million this year, and $200 million over the next five years, in research funding. The colleges and universities chosen will work on projects in conjunction with the Army Research Office, Office of Naval Research, and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.
