DoD, Intelligence Communities to Share Computer Networks

The Defense Department and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) have agreed in principle to share information on their computer networks, in the name of enhancing of national security. Under the agreement, ODNI and DoD’s information office will use compatible "authorization and attribute" services, which ensure that only authorized users gain access to specific unclassified, secret, and top-secret data banks they need to use.
