Female Leaders Needed for Shore Programs

The Navy is offering several leadership-related shore billets to female active-duty sailors. Participants can earn Instructor Navy Enlisted Classification, master training specialist, corrections specialist, or Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape instructor qualifications, as part of the service’s Women Ashore program. At present, open billets include the Transient Personnel Units at Jacksonville, Fla., Norfolk, Va., and San Diego, and the Navy Consolidated Brigs at San Diego, Chesapeake, Va., and Charleston, S.C.
