Harris Corp., L3 Announce Merger

Harris Corporation and L3 Technologies announced Oct. 16 that the two companies are merging, to create the nation’s sixth-largest defense contractor. Once the deal is finalized, L3 Harris Technologies, Inc., would consist of roughly 48,000 employees and serve customers in more than 100 countries. The combined company expects to earn roughly $16 billion in net revenue this year.
