Service members and their families must mail their parcels by no later than Nov. 12 to ensure delivery to stateside and overseas locations in time for the Christmas holidays. Express Mail Military Service packages and letters must be postmarked by no later than Dec. 17. For first class and priority mail, the deadline is Dec. 10. Parcels delivered on a space-available basis (PAL) must be mailed by Dec. 3. So-called SAM parcels, which are delivered domestically by surface and then shipped overseas by air on a space-available basis, must be postmarked by Nov. 26.
