All U.S. combat forces will be out of Iraq by August, President Obama told a group of reporters Oct. 20. U.S. military presence in the country will end by 2011 as well, Obama said, after meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, according to Voice of America. "Our relations today have moved along and are not only confined to security cooperation, but today have moved to economic development, to providing prosperity for the Iraqi people," Obama said.
