The Marine Corps is conducting a command climate survey, to garner feedback regarding leadership issues, trust in commanders, professional, personal and unit standards, and other related matters. New commanders in the ranks of lieutenant colonel and higher are required to initiate the survey no later than 30 days after assuming command, and again once each year. Those officers who held command before June 30 must initiate the survey no later than Sept. 30, and again each year afterward. Respondents are guaranteed anonymity. The survey is available online at www.usmcsurveys.com.
