Marines Deploy to Africa

As part of the fight to thwart Ebola, a special Marine expeditionary unit is deploying to Dakar, Senegal, from Moron, Spain, with the intent of moving into the Liberian capital of Monrovia. The 100 Marines are attached to Special Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa, and will deploy on four MV-22 Ospreys and two KC-130 Hercules air refueling aircraft. The Marines will have the capability to deploy into remote areas and airlift patients to areas where they can receive treatment.
