In separate announcements, the Marine Corps unveiled plans to survey voluntarily selected members of the active-duty officer and enlisted communities to determine the career and lifestyle factors that figure the heaviest when they decide whether or not to remain in uniform. Certain active-duty enlisted Marines with end-of-active-service dates that occur between Oct. 1, 2010, and Sept. 30, 2011, can provide similar input through the Enlisted End-of-Active-Service survey.
