MC Establishes Reenlistment Guidelines

The Marine Corps has established reenlistment guidelines for Marines whose enlistment contracts end between Oct. 1, 2009, and Sept. 30, 2010. Among them: First-term Marines for fiscal year 2010 who want to reenlist in their primary military occupational specialty (MOS) can submit requests by July 1; fiscal year 2011 first-term Marines in certain MOSs who receive permanent-change-of-station (PCS) orders will be considered for reenlistment on a case-by-case basis; and fiscal year 2011 Marines can reenlist early if they select security guard duty as their duty station incentive.
