After more than 40 years, the Marine Corps soon may finally get its new expeditionary fighting vehicle. The new EFV, which would replace one that has been in use continuously since the Vietnam War, is undergoing tests at Camp Pendleton, Calif., and Aberdeen Test Center, Md. Before the new vehicle is delivered to the force, the test team wants to ensure it meets standards for safety, automotive functions, firepower, and water and land performance.
