The Navy is asking sailors to provide their input about the most effective methods of confronting problems associated with abuse of substances and alcohol. The service’s alcohol and drug-abuse prevention office posted an anonymous, online survey of the ranks Aug. 6, which will remain online through Aug. 27. The Navy intends to incorporate those ideas in an upcoming effort to spread the word throughout the fleet about the pitfalls of alcoholism and substance abuse. The survey is available at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Z3LNH7P. Participants should enter "Navy" as the password.
