Navy Seeks Advanced-Journalism Applicants

The Navy is inviting mass communications specialists to apply for its advanced military visual journalism training program for the 2015-2016 academic year. Successful candidates will take two courses – photojournalism and motion media – beginning July 27 and continuing through next May 5. Applicants must meet numerous criteria, such as reenlistment or extension eligibility through June 2019, command endorsement, six-month proximity to rotation or approval of transfer, physical fitness, a good service record, and eligibility for secret clearance.
